Joe Citino Providian Builders of CT has been a homebuilder for thirty years, contributing to fulfilling the American dream of homeownership for hundreds of families. From the outset of his career, Citino has been drawn to the whole homebuilding process, which enables him to tap into both his business and creative sides. He enjoys working with individuals and families to make their dreams a reality. He very much enjoys collaborating closely with architects and designers to create the perfect homes for each client.  

Based in North Carolina, Citino’s DBC Contracting provides single-family residential and commercial construction. The company focuses on quality craftsmanship and attention to detail and is dedicated to delivering exceptional results that meet each client’s unique needs.

 Additional Construction Services

Axtraction is a licensed tree service contractor based in North Carolina that services the southeastern United States. The company provides top-of-the-line tree, shrub, and brush services for commercial and residential properties. Citino and the team have the equipment necessary to handle every size project, from tree trimming to land clearing, as well as regular property maintenance and full disaster and property recovery projects.

Kaboom Demolition Kompany, which services the Indian Trail and Mint Hill, North Carolina, areas, provides total structure demolition, land clearing, and residential grading. Projects include demolishing houses, garages, decks, driveways, and swimming pools. Kaboom Demolition removes obstacles such as trees, stumps, and structures in order to make way for a new home, shed, or deck on a property. Its full grading service creates flat surfaces for planting, drainage, and new structures. 

Beyond Construction

In addition to his construction-related companies, Joseph Citino is interested in Trattoria Toscana Ristorante, which aligns with his passion for finding great, high-quality restaurants. The restaurant offers various seasonal, authentic, and classic Italian cuisine.

Citino’s Philanthropic Work

Citino is committed to giving back to his community and those in need. A born-again Christian, he regularly contributes to his church, Central Church, in Charlotte, NC. He led a team to Puerto Rico following Hurricane Maria for the purpose of rebuilding a church and also a drug and alcohol rehabilitation center. He also led a donation campaign following Hurricane Katrina and was able to send two full tractor-trailer loads of needed supplies and food to Louisiana. 

Additionally, he and his company were instrumental in successfully helping build an equestrian center in the inner city for the Ebony Woman’s Riding Stable, which serves the needs of inner-city kids who may otherwise never have an opportunity to ride horses in the country. He is a regular contributor to causes that he’s most passionate about. The Wounded Warrior, Compassion International, and St Jude’s Children’s Hospital are just three of them. 

Co-Produced the Film “DISPATCHED”

In addition, Citino co-produced a Christian film, “DISPATCHED,“ based on the real-life story of Carl Thomas, a former police officer in Windsor, Connecticut. Starring Dean Cain, the film shows how God changed the heart of a street-hardened cop into an ambassador of God’s love and how an entire community was changed.

Joseph Citino of South Windsor, CT, is the proud father of three adult children and six grandchildren, with whom he loves spending as much time as possible. Of all his accomplishments, he considers his relationship with God and his family to be the most significant and important. They all live in North Carolina, very close together, allowing him to enjoy spending time with them all.
